GUSTAVO MAGGIO
Co-founder and Creative Director of Outofstock Design and Forest&Whale. With Italian family roots, he grew up and studied design in Buenos Aires, graduating from the National University in 2003.
He spent two years working on architecture projects in Barcelona and in 2010 moved to Asia to grow Outofstock Design as co-founder and Creative Director.
In 2016 he co-founded Forest&Whale as a platform to explore, through design, the relationship between our environments, behaviors and experiences. Currently based in Singapore, he spends the year travelling and observing diverse cultural behaviors and consumer trends that inspire and nourish his evolving professional practice.

WENDY CHUA
A seasonal nomad between Singapore and Buenos Aires, Wendy Chua is an industrial designer and educator. Her work delves into the discoveries that nature affords. A naive reinterpretation of wood-joinery or the harvest of hues from tropical flora in tufted wool. This curiosity for sensorial material exploration is rooted in the childhood memory of observing her mother, a seamstress, at work. Drawn to the workshop, she works with woodworkers and glassblowers, penning their stories in the design process. In 2017, she co-edited the book The Machinist after a two-year research, bringing a focus to the relevance and wisdom of the industrial artisan in the demise of craft.
